EK Bharat Shreshtha Bharat

• Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat programme aims to enhance interaction & promote mutual understanding between people of different states/UTs through the concept of state/UT pairing. The states carry out activities to promote a sustained and structured cultural connect in the areas of language learning, culture, traditions & music, tourism & cuisine, sports and sharing of best practices, etc.

• Under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat programme Punjab State has been paired with Andhra Pradesh. The list of activities being conducted under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat programme in the State of Punjab is as under:

• Expression Series (Painting/Drawing/Essay/Poems/Songs on paired State.

• Drama/Folk Theatre/Role Play on culture, History, Tradition on paired State.

• Pledge on Swachhata/Single use of Plastic/Water Saving/National Unity in the language of the paired State.

• Questions/Answer session on paired State.

•  News and Talks on paired State.

• Digital Photo Collage making on paired State.

• Online Quiz.

• EBSB talks by the teachers.

• Webinar on Culture of paired State.

• Folk Dance & Folk Song of paired State.

• Art Project for Schools (Art integrated project work of the students of schools in Punjab will be based on the art form of Andhra Pradesh.

• Pen-Pals E-Pen pals (Explore Food Habits, History, Art & Literature, Custom and Traditions, Wildlife, Knowledge of Plants of paired State.

• Theme based Display Board/Wall Magazine on the paired State.

• Exposure of Students Alphabet, Songs, Proverbs through 100 sentences in the language of paired state.

• Showing Popular and age-appropriated film/s form the paired  State/UT  in the language of the paired  State.

• Learning the Indigenous Sport of paired Sate/UT.

• School Level competition on Bhasha Sangam.

Bhasha Sangam

• Bhasha Sangam program through different activities is celebrated in schools of Punjab.

• Students and Teachers are encouraged to learn 100 sentences in the language of paired states. through popular songs proverbs and phrases.

• Short dialogues consisting of 100 sentences in the language of paired state has been designed.

• Exposure of Alphabets, Songs, Proverbs & Unique Words of paired states.

• Students participated in online Quiz Competition held at Diksha website on given Diksha app.

Azadi ka Amrit  Mahautsav

• Under Azadi ka Mahautsav Students of class 1^st to 12^th take unity pledge in the language of paired states.

• Students showcase projects on culture, custom, dress, agriculture and climate etc.

• Students sing popular songs in the language of Andhra Pradesh.
